Former Lt. General Honore had a funny but biting response to the tweets President Trump has been sending criticizing the mayor of San Juan for demanding more help.

Honore is a very respected man who doesn’t let himself get pigeonholed in partisan squabbling, so it’s telling that he refused to criticize Trump, but shot down his tweeting in the politest way possible.

I think what it’ll come down to is results. If we see a terrible death toll and more misery in a few days and the Trump administration is blaming others and making excuses, then we’ll know what really happened here.
