New CNN/SSRS poll numbers are out today in Michigan and CNN Senior Data Reporter Harry Enten said they are not good for Joe Biden.
The poll numbers show former President Trump leading Joe Biden by +8 points:

Enten said he looked back in 2020 and there was never a CNN approved poll where Trump was leading Biden. But even more importantly, Enten said this isn’t a one-off poll:
Here we already have one and I looked at the average of polls and looked at our previous CNN poll and they all show the same thing, which is that Donald Trump is ahead of Joe Biden in the Wolverine State.
The New CNN poll also looked at Pennsylvania, which right now shows a tie between the two presidential candidates. But Enten suggests this also isn’t what Biden wants to see, saying “this is a state that Joe Biden won last time around by a little bit more than a percentage point, so this is not the type of polling that Joe Biden wants to see here.”
Enten goes back to the Michigan poll and looks at the polling for Biden’s “sharpness and stamina” and it’s horrible for Biden:
MICHIGAN POLL: "Thinking about what you want in a president, Biden's sharpness and stamina are…"

— Close enough: 24%
