Stockton police released bodycam footage of an incident from last month, May 11, where an officer was fatally shot while responding to a domestic situation reported by neighbors.
This is hard to watch, but reveals the harsh reality of what these officers do for us on a daily basis, putting their lives on the line to try and keep people safe. Stockton Police Officer Jimmy Inn did just that and died a heroic death.
With this toxic, anti-cop atmosphere running amok in this country, it’s important that people see the officers that receive such hate and are reminded of their great sacrifice.

What’s so heartbreaking is hearing the officer call out to his wounded partner from a distance, knowing he can’t run to help him because the suspect is shooting at him.
Also, it’s worth noting the heroism of the man who tackled the suspect so that the officer could save the child and stop this madness from continuing.
I don’t know anything about Officer Jimmy Inn other than what’s in this video, but I’m going to say a prayer for his soul today and I encourage you to do so as well.
