Today Joy Behar tried her BEST to convince Valerie Jarret to get Obama to come out and start attacking Trump, because, you know, the sky is falling or something.

Even though Behar tried to argue that it’s an emergency, she still got shot down by Jarret, who said:
It’s not just bad form, but I think his view is, and he said this before he left office, it’s time for all of us to step up. He is now a citizen just like all of you, and he is spending time helping the next generation of leaders and we shouldn’t just look to his voice all the time. Your voices are just as important.
Ouch.
Jarret is obviously very protective of Obama’s voice, and I’ve appreciated his silence for the most part. Sure, he said something the other day that made the news, but for the most part he has been laying pretty low.
It is interesting though how the left has taken this ‘end of the world’ approach to Trump, when he hasn’t even come close to living up to the picture they tried to paint of him as a dictator wannabe who would try and take over the US or something. Sure he has some big quirks that we don’t like. But at the end of the day (aside from trade…maybe), the country is far better off that it was before he was elected. There’s still a long way to go and he’s not the best we could’ve had, but he’s been pretty good over all, save the outrageous things he says from time to time.
I always tell people when they ask about Trump, that to me he’s a walking dichotomy. On one hand I like very much some of the things he’s accomplished and intends to accomplish. And I love how he drives the left crazy. On the other hand, I don’t like other things about him, both policy-wise and style/character-wise.
I also don’t like how the media is almost always foaming at the mouth over him. But I do how the left is almost always foaming at the mouth these days, saying the most ridiculous things about Trump, just like Behar in this video.
