The left is really tossing a hail Mary pass here in an attempt to stop the Kavanaugh confirmation, and it’s as desperate as it is transparently obvious to anyone with a brain.
Unfortunately that excludes the majority of Democrats. Womp womp.
Now they’re trying some ridiculous comparison to the accusations made by Anita Hill during the Clarence Thomas hearings.
David French shoots them down pretty easily:
About those Anita Hill comparisons:
— David French (@DavidAFrench) September 14, 2018
1991: Hill comes forward publicly
2018: Claims are anonymous
1991: Hill makes detailed allegations
2018: Public hasn’t seen the claims
1991: Hill alleges professional misconduct
2018: Anonymous refers to high school
Not close to the same.
Others are seeing right through it:
Uh, Anita Hill testified publicly under oath and was cross-examined. We don't even know who Kavanaugh's accuser even IS! Not to mention, Kavanaugh was allegedly 17 years old! You people can NOT be serious about this BS analogy. It's a joke, right?! https://t.co/JJROCIldYI
— John Ziegler (@Zigmanfreud) September 14, 2018
But rabid liberals still think this will sink Kavanaugh, even though there’s no evidence, just anonymous accusations:
let's see how much has changed since Anita Hill. Do we believe women or not? Is #MeToo going to change how we consider a SCOTUS nominee facing allegations of misconduct or not? https://t.co/me81uV4aX2

And even the Dems are signaling that they know it’s a load of BS that they’re trying to make stick on the wall:
As far as I can tell, not a single Judiciary Committee Democrat (or Senate Dem for that matter) has put out a statement on this Kavanaugh story.

But both Hatch and Grassley’s office have.
Yup, Kavanaugh is going to be confirmed.
