Todd Starnes is OUT at Fox News after interview with Robert Jeffress

It looks like Todd Starnes is no longer working at Fox News and it comes after he made a comment suggesting Democrats worship the pagan god Moloch:

THEWRAP – TheWrap has learned that Todd Starnes’ contract at Fox News is not being renewed. The host will no longer be working at the network, its website, or its premium subscription service, Fox Nation.

He made headlines as recently as Monday for comments during his radio program that Democrats do not believe in the Christian God and instead may worship Moloch, a pagan god often associated with child sacrifice. When asked for comment, Fox News confirmed the news that Starnes is no longer working at the network but did not elaborate on the reasons behind Starnes’ departure. An individual with knowledge of the situation told TheWrap Starnes’ departure “was in the works well before Monday.”

I believe this is the audio in question, which is an interview between Starnes and Robert Jeffress:

The important part comes at the end and then it fades out before Starnes can say anything. According to The Hill, Starnes just laughed and told Jeffress that he came loaded for bear.

So technically, the comments were that of Jeffress, not Starnes.

But by his response I’m guessing they believe Starnes agreed with Jeffress, which is what I would have done. In fact I’ve argued in the past that what Democrats are advocating is worse than the child sacrifice to the pagan god Moloch we read about in the scriptures. It’s systematic baby murder allowed by the state. And the god Molech, otherwise known as Satan, would be very pleased.
