This is kind of hilarious. Ancient reporter and special correspondent to NBC News Tom Brokaw bashed Trump on Twitter this morning for being a callous and cold-hearted monster who doesn’t care about people dying from coronavirus.
Then later after actually watching Trump talk about victims of the pandemic was all “oh nevermind.’
Instead of saying sorry, he played it like he was just adding info. Because that’s what they do.
In the first tweet, note the ALL CAPS emoting.

The second tweet wasn’t quite so expressive.

How great is “catching up” for that tweet, y’all? That’s him going “oh I didn’t actually check that before getting worked up and stuff.”
Notice also the sarcastic jabs in the first tweet about casino stock and ‘triumphant’ recovery. In the second tweet it’s all business. No sorry. No sarcastic jabs at his own foibles. Just “credit where due.’
