A former Republican who helped lead the charge against Trump in 2016, who was so obsessed with hating Trump that he left the Republican field altogether and became a Democrat, has suddenly found ‘strange new respect’ for Trump with the emergence of Governor DeSantis running for president.
I tend (perhaps foolishly) to discount the Alpha/Beta Male stuff.

DeSantis was always on Fox when Rupert was for him. Now he announces on Twitter when Elon's for him. Kind of Beta, no?
