Former Vice President Mike Pence got some cheers and some jeers, but was almost drowned out at one point by booing and shouts of “traitor” from the crowd at the Faith & Freedom Coalition conference today.
Pence did not intervene, as then President Trump repeatedly pressed him to do, and eventually pressing turned to outright insulting, and Trump’s insults to his former running mate and VP have not stopped since.
Trump has called him a coward, the people shouting in this clip yell TRAITOR.
Some folks were escorted away, including the woman who broke the ice with the first shout:
Pence greeted here at Faith & Freedom with cheers as he got on stage, but as he started to speak a woman shouted “traitor” before being escorted out. He spoke over it, ignoring the outburst.

The Blaze adds that “none of the other speakers were heckled by the crowd, which consisted of hundreds of the Republican Party’s activist evangelical voters.
“But dozens of attendees left the room as Pence approached the podium to speak,” explains Chris Pandolfo. “The hecklers were quickly removed from the audience by security.”
“I’m a Christian, a conservative and a Republican, in that order,” Pence says over the shouts.
There were plenty of people cheering and applauding too, but rest assured they won’t mention that in the media.
