In yet another sign of the apocalypse of common sense and logic, a transgender runner has been named “female athlete of the year.” But he/she/it/they weren’t identify as transgender according to The College Fix:
Even men who identify as women typically acknowledge that they are “transgender women,” clarifying that they were not born women.
The Big Sky Conference didn’t even go that far when it honored a transgender woman as its “Female Athlete of the Week” in cross country. The student’s university was even more circumspect, simply identifying the transgender woman as “Athlete of the Week.”
June Eastwood, formerly known as Jonathan, “finished second in a field of 204 runners at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational” and helped the University of Montana finish seventh as a team, the conference said in a press release. Both pages for “June” and “Jonathan” remain live on a University of Montana Athletics website.

Absurd. I actually had to be careful about how I worded the headline because they automatically go out to Twitter, and we can get dinged for “deadnaming” transgender persons. That’s hate speech that refuses to accept a person’s chosen gender in favor of the gender that God and nature gave to them.
Because we live in insane times, that’s why.
In fact, I’d bet money that it won’t be too long before liberals are demanding speech like that last paragraph be censored from the internet. Mark my words, it’s gonna happen….
