TRIFECTA puts the election in perspective: Why does the media think Obama is winning?

This is a great Trifecta where they put into perspective the election, and it’s not exactly as the media would have you believe. In fact, Bill Whittle, quoting Stephen Kruiser, says that the media is trying to suppress the vote and contributions of Republicans:

Just like the 1969 New York Mets, “You Gotta Believe!” I still think it will all come down to the debates. If Romney can make Obama look foolish with Obama’s own words, then he will win, and win big. I think the few undecided voters out there just need to hear him speak and need a reason to vote for him and NOT Obama. I think Romney will give them that reason.

It’s like the campaign the media had against Hillary in 2008 all over again. I was a liberal back then and was going for Hillary. Don’t ask. Anyhoo, what’s going on now is an exact replica of what they did to Hillary. To recap, back then Hillary did not account for the caucus’. Ron Paul supporters know how to deal with them and so does Obama. So Hillary fell behind, but she could still have won. Then the media and the DNC took votes away from her and gave them to Obama. The point is that Hillary was still a threat. So they skewed the polls toward Obama by 10 or 20 points and Hillary would win that state by double digits. She didn’t always win. Yet every time she did win, Obama would trot out more superdelegates in support of him. It was a classic demoralizing campaign against Hillary… Read more »

I can’t believe the GOP does not talk about the social psychology concept of Social Proof. Social Proof is the most powerful propaganda tool. The typical Obama voter is moved by Social Proof. 48% of the population will do what their neighbor is doing. The fake polls will get more people to vote for Obama. The polls are not skewed. It is pure propaganda. Google Social Proof. WTF

Polls go up and down. And Romney took a hit with the 47% mark. However, no serious political person believes Romney is down by 10 in Ohio, 9 in Florida or 8 in Virginia. I like this perspective of Romney supporters in Toledo, Ohio.

Did you hear the cheers at the Romney/Ryan event today? Ryan, Ryan, Ryan! Romney tried to get them to chant Romney-Ryan, Romney-Ryan. Damn, I wish Ryan at the top of the ticket. There is no base energy for Romney, just energy for No-Obama and that isn’t enough to win a majority.

Wow. I was just watching SR online and they were all doom and gloom. It’s about time for all of us to give up on the reporters that listen far too intently to the establishment of either party. They are all useless to us now. Like Whittle says, leave us you feint hearted fools. You will not share this victory with us.

Here’s the shorter clip of Henry V by Kenneth Branaugh (1989)but the whole movie is well worth the time.

Thank-you for that youtube link, I forgot just how inspiring it is and how well it fits today’s political “fight for the future”(” Serenity” reference). Romney might not be a Reagan or Henry V, but he is a man of honesty against a man of hypocrisy. The question is what does this country want? The hard truth of liberty or the soft lie of tyranny.

Polls Polls all I hear are Polls, how about the real NEWS? Every TV and Radio channel is about the Polls. Just stop the Polling, each station with 15 minutes of Poll results when the LIAR lies and Romney say’s Obama cares for the ” middle class” . What is worse? Waterboarding or Poll results every 30 minutes ?

I liked the Henry V reference that was given…very appropriate for this current atmosphere. I’m tired of “conservatives” acting as turncoats and not getting fully behind their candidate.

For goodness sake I’m an independent and if I was on the national stage I would do whatever and say whatever I could (that was honest of course) to sell Romney as the next president to Americans.

Any conservative who cannot keep their mouth shut about these so called “gaffes” need to get out of the way and leave “the battle” because the Romney supporters are better off fighting this without them and their treacherous ways.

One can easily dismiss CNN polls or even Foxnews polls of skewed/insufficient data sample, yet you cannot easily dismiss Rasmussen and Gallup polls which are most legit to look at. There are valid reasons to be concerned as Mitt Romney is trailing (albeit not by a wide margin) in the 3 critical swing states: Ohio, Florida and Virginia. He needs to win at least two out of three. The national polls are too close to win/lose and it’s a big gamble to count on the repeat of Reagan’s coming from behind victory to win this election. Mitts needs all the big guns, Allen West, Sarah Palin, Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh and Ron Paul … to sound the clarion call and fire up Tea Party grassroot conservative base and the libertarian, functioning on all cylinders to aggressively campaign for him in all local districts (and lots of prayers and intercessions for… Read more »

Let me tell you an example of how he media is wrong and its not even close. Today On Special Report the question of the day was “who will win Ohio”
Sr1 Obama
Sr2 Romney
The results were
Sr1 10%
Sr2 90%
Now how if the media is right about the poll is there such a big disparity?
I pray to god that my fellow patriots do not get discouraged by looking at the polls, and stay positive.

PK

Who did the polls though, are they as objectively legit as Rasmussen/Gallup polls? All the lefty media are portraying in unison that the election is pretty much over for Mitts, whistling past the graveyard. True, fellow patriots need not get discouraged by looking at the faux polls, and to stay positive. Yet there’s a huge difference between passively voting for R/R and aggressively campaign locally for R&R, which will give R&R a huge advantage in voter participation and momentum. The current polls are just too close to comfort leading to November, too many disenfranchised Tea Party and Libetarion conservatives are sidelined by the establishment GOP (GOP rule change at RNC further aggravated them). At best, most conservative will vote for R&R ticket for the sake of the country, yet some ardent supporters (Palinitas and Paulbot, excuse the use of the term, no pun intended) will not vote for R&R ticket… Read more »

Unfortunately, Romney is losing by large margins in crucial swing states and is down 6 in the gallup. I doubt that the debates will close the gap. I think republicans and super pacs need to focus their money and effort on saving the congress because if Romney’s weakness increases he will start to take down congressional and senate candidates.

ChesterWalton, did you listen to this excellent Trifecta clip? This is my take: Romney is NOT losing. Bill Whittle gave a short synopsis of Henry V’s rallying of his troops before the battle of Agincourt. They were discontent/complaining seeing how outnumbered they were by the enemy (French) army. Henry V told them ‘Those of you that do not have stomach for this fight then get on a boat and go home (and we will pay your way back home). If you don’t have the strength for this fight then go home.’ ‘Leave us alone, the victory will be that much greater w/o you and that much more likely w/o you.’ We Do Not Lose Heart, and we don’t listen to the negative, demoralizing tactics the left employs in a full on attack against. This is what they do. This is what we do: We trust the Lord! We trust Romney…he… Read more »

What Mitt needs is a rapid response team that meets every morning and night to go on these talk shows to rebut the BS the hosts are spewing. Whether it changes the minds of the Obots is not the point. You can not leave a charge out their unanswered. Bill clinton showed us that. No use in complaining about them; fight them, confront them; get in their faces but Mitt does not need to do this, a rapid response team headed by SUNNU is the right answer. PLEAD MITT HEAR MY IDEA.

This was sorely needed, and 100% true. First off, if you want to see what the polls would say if they were weighted correctly, check the new website http://www.unskewedpolls.com Unskewed, Romney has an average lead of 7.8. Second, we have got to put our money where our mouth is. Today I got 4 Romney/Ryan yard signs, bumper stickers, and buttons for $11.95 each. Here: http://www.romney2012store.com/romney-ryan-yard-sign-kit/. I’m giving the other 3 to fellow Mitt supporters in other parts of town. Though my neighborhood was flooded with Obama signs in ’08, there is not a single one this year. ZERO. My sign will be the first Romney/Ryan sign, and that needs to change, quickly. Finally, I have to ask all of you if your experience is like mine. I have numerous friends, family, and co-workers that have Obama voter’s remorse, but zero former McCain/Palin voters that now support Obama. ZERO. Stop listening… Read more »

Your list of the highly paid tools of the fanatical leftwing mainstream media is just the tip of the iceberg. The Sulzbergers of the New York Times have been brainwashing the population of New York and the nation for over a century. Throw in CBS with Walter Cronkite, followed by Dan Rather, and the brainwashing parameters are stretched even more. Seeing the Quininipiac’s poll was “commissioned” by these two propaganda machines, is there any other possible result that could’ve been reached? Our country was founded by those who escaped this same type of attack to form our government. The attackers followed us and tried to imprison us on the homeland that our founding fathers founded. Even then there were those among us who sided with the attackers. They were called Tories and fought within our midst to maintain the chains to the rulers we had escaped in forming our nation. I think Romney’s on the right path. Although I would be jumping out of my chair with laughter and excitement if he came out talking like Allen West…he’s not Allen West. Additionally, I don’t know if that would hurt the campaign or help it. It would sure help it with me, but Romney already has my vote. How would the Independents take it, or the Democrats that are voting for Romney this time around (and I think there will be many)? I can’t speak for them. I have heard that Independents tend to look down on viscious attack ads, so it may not help.

You make one of the best points, Romney already has our vote and we all know his approach to everything is business like and as the CEO of this campaign we as conservatives have to chill out and let him do what he does best, and I have been listening to him today and he looks like he is going to be more agressive.

Romney is different and not like Ronald Reagan. But we, conservatives appreciate differences as long as they are conservative values. For example, one difference between Reagan and Romney is that Romney throughly understands business and he understands the perphery of conservatism. Where Ronald Reagan understood and articulated Conservtism. Romney has been in the business world most of his life with the exception of being Governor of Mass. In his town hall style meeting today, that the fabuous Right Scoop brought us, he actually brokered or started a deal between two companies. Now I know Obama could not even come close to doing that in a million years. While I do not understand some of the policies that Romney implemented in Mass. he is a far better person and candidate than Barack Obama! Plus Romney’s American.
