So the Trump administration is [finally] getting wise to the scheming dictator in Ankara, Receipt Erdogan.
This is because the Russians are making a move to draw Dictator Receipt to their side and away from the other NATO countries:
The head of Russian state conglomerate Rostec, Sergei Chemezov, said the country would start delivering S-400 missile systems to Turkey in two months, the Interfax news agency reported.
Chemezov added that Russia had finished instructing Turkish specialists on the use of the S-400.
Tensions between Turkey and the United States are running high over Ankara’s decision to buy the S-400 missile defenses, which are not compatible with NATO systems.
The U.S. has responded by cancelling a deal with Reciept:
The Trump administration has laid out to the Turkish government how it will pull the nation from all participation in the F-35 joint strike fighter program should Ankara receive a Russian-made missile defense system, the Pentagon announced Friday.
Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan on Thursday sent a list to the Turkish defense minister detailing actions the United States will take to suspend Turkey’s participation in the F-35 program by July 31 if the NATO partner takes delivery of Russia’s S-400 surface-to-air missile defense system.
“While we seek to maintain our valued relationship, Turkey will not receive the F-35 if Turkey takes delivery of the S-400,” Shanahan writes.
He says that while the United States “greatly values” its partnership with Turkey, the administration is not pleased with the news that Turkey sent personnel to Russia for training on the S-400 system.
Shanahan adds that Turkey still has the option to change course on the purchase.

Kind of a small step, but at least it’s taking him seriously. Reciept is definitely not a friend of the U.S., not a friend of freedom, and was utilizing his partnership in NATO just to strengthen his dictatorship in Turkey. I would imagine that he’d be much more comfy with a thug like Putin, and they’re likely gonna draw closer and push the U.S. out. But that’s just one mexy blogger’s opinion.
