El Presidente Trump bashed the “fake news Sunday political shows” this morning, but he went on to watch them all, and then offered his opinion as professional media critic hours later:
Watched some of the Fake News Political Shows this morning and continue to be amazed at how every question is asked in the most negative way. The Mainstream Media should be ashamed of itself - But the good news is that the USA is wise to your game of dishonesty and deception!

Well that’s fair. There are plenty of polls (the good ones that we believe) that show the American public doesn’t put a whole lot of faith in the mainstream media, and that’s a good thing. Yes, we need to be skeptical of our government, but we also need to be skeptical of those gatekeepers of the media, especially when they’ve shown themselves to be biased, and sometimes just incompetent.
El Presidente also ripped into Amash for being the first Republican to announce that he supported impeachment:
Never a fan of @justinamash, a total lightweight who opposes me and some of our great Republican ideas and policies just for the sake of getting his name out there through controversy. If he actually read the biased Mueller Report, “composed” by 18 Angry Dems who hated Trump,....
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 19, 2019
Total lightweight!!
….he would see that it was nevertheless strong on NO COLLUSION and, ultimately, NO OBSTRUCTION…Anyway, how do you Obstruct when there is no crime and, in fact, the crimes were committed by the other side? Justin is a loser who sadly plays right into our opponents hands!

I mean, it would be nice to hear Mueller actually definitively say whether Barr represented his conclusions correctly or not.
Either way, Mitt Romney did some damage to the pro-impeachment cause when he came out against it earlier. And he has a point. Impeachment is a political action. It will happen if enough people want it to happen. And in this case, not enough people are convinced and persuaded that it is needed. So it’s not gonna happen. Had there been real concrete evidence of obstruction of justice in the Mueller report, then perhaps it would be different. But it ain’t.
