Trump tonight called out CNN (and others) for giving out false information regarding what the said about the fake news media being the enemy of the people:
CNN and others in the Fake News Business keep purposely and inaccurately reporting that I said the “Media is the Enemy of the People.” Wrong! I said that the “Fake News (Media) is the Enemy of the People,” a very big difference. When you give out false information – not good!
Check out tweets from last two days. I refer to Fake News Media when mentioning Enemy of the People – but dishonest reporters use only the word “Media.” The people of our Great Country are angry and disillusioned at receiving so much Fake News. They get it, and fully understand!

It is true. Even after the this came to a head when Ivanka was asked about this issue, the media still continued to say that Trump was labeling the entire media as the enemy of the people. And they’ve never stopped. It’s like they are putting everyone in the “fake news media” category, when clearly Trump is not doing that.
But with the election only a week away, don’t expect CNN to make an issue out of Trump’s latest tweets and make clear that he’s not referring to the media as a whole. Maybe they’ll do it after November 6th.
Nah.
