El Presidente Trumpo appeared on Fox and Friends early this morning, and actually confirmed an earlier report that he called his own healthcare bill “mean.”
Here’s the whole interview:
He says that the very notion of “resist” is a terrible thing. Hegseth tosses as many softballs as possible and as softly as possible.
But while he’s talking about how great the plan is, he literally admits he called it “mean” just to show that Obama used HIS word, to undermine Obama’s statement.
CNN is taking notice:
GOP sources said Trump called the House's #AHCA bill "mean."
WH wouldn't confirm.
Then Trump confirmed it himself. https://t.co/RrGTGI1y4W

Obama "actually used my term, MEAN. That was my term."

Yesterday, Trump's jealousy of Obama got him to admit Russians meddled in the election. Today, it made him admit his GOP bill is "MEAN." https://t.co/tgIg3H7nrG

Speaker Ryan last wk: "I think that was some kind of a misinterpretation of a private meeting."
Trump: Nope. All me. Definitely said that. https://t.co/8uZno34GEB— Phil Mattingly (@Phil_Mattingly) June 25, 2017
Right. Trump admits he called GOP health care bill "mean."

And, as Bill Kristol points out – isn’t it weird to attack Senator Heller for criticizing a bill that Trump himself calls mean?
Ludicrous. "Dump Heller!–because he deserted Trump by refusing to vote for a variant of a health care bill that Trump himself called mean?" https://t.co/kjWEAH5fmq

It doesn’t matter!! Tribalism is all about loyalty, not consistency…
Even funnier – in that same report he is said to have called it a “son of a b**ch.”
On that, Mark Levin agrees.
