As Trump likes to do, and rightly so, he’s hitting back at the media and Democrats to remind them of why he has a zero tolerance policy on the border. Today he held a presser with victims of illegal alien crime who have been permanently separated from family members.
Here’s how it began:
Pres. Trump references families of those killed by undocumented immigrants.
"These are the American citizens permanently separated from their loved ones. The word 'permanently' being the word that you have to think about…they're not separated for a day or two days." pic.twitter.com/dUxLGtVU3B

In my opinion, this is a great response by the President to all the outrage over children being separated. While I hate that he caved to Chuck Schumer with that executive order, I get why he did it and it has made a difference I think in the overall coverage this issue is getting.
But this is the kind of ‘hitting back’ at the media that I wish he’d do more of, because it’s the truth and people need to hear it.
You can watch the entire press conference if you’d like and hear the stories of these people who have lost family members due to crime committed by illegal aliens:
I would like to point out something, however. At least on social media, some have already noticed that on the portraits of these lost loved ones, you can see Trump’s signature:
Everything Trump touches turns tacky. Each parent of a kid slain by undocumented immigrant is holding poster of the kids’ face… with a big ol’ Donald Trump autograph. pic.twitter.com/HTKgboORa9

Pardon my french, but so the hell what? Unless Trump forced his signature on these portraits, and I seriously doubt that’s the case, then I don’t care if these people wanted Trump’s autograph on these portraits or on body parts. It’s a non-issue to me and not something that should matter to anyone. After all, these people who have suffered great losses are standing with a president they believe is finally trying to tackle the issue of illegal immigration. And I don’t begrudge them at all for wanting Trump’s signature.
