I don’t know who Fareed Zakaria had to murder in order to get this analysis on CNN, but there are at least a few rotting corpses buried in a park near Fareed’s home, I’m sure.
In the opening segment (!) of his show today, Fareed starts off saying Trump is RIGHT!!

He even says Trump’s frustration is understandable!!! And he says he wants to give Trump’s “unconventional methods” a try, since nothing else has worked!! Is he trying out for Fox News?
OK, all joking aside, it’s good to hear someone, who is clearly a critic of Trump, admit that he doesn’t have a problem with Trump policies. Fareed even says that the administration’s report detailing China’s abuses was uncharacteristically well-written!! We’ve mocked Fareed in the past, but at least we can give him some kudos for being open-minded and even-handed about China.
That doesn’t mean I agree with him on tariffs. But unlike deranged Trump-haters (some on CNN), at least Zakaria is admitting when Trump is doing something not completely insane. Which is what we try to do as well…
