There’s an immigration vote scheduled for this afternoon and Trump just went ALL CAPS in a tweet trying to convince Republicans to vote for the Goodlatte II bill:
HOUSE REPUBLICANS SHOULD PASS THE STRONG BUT FAIR IMMIGRATION BILL, KNOWN AS GOODLATTE II, IN THEIR AFTERNOON VOTE TODAY, EVEN THOUGH THE DEMS WON’T LET IT PASS IN THE SENATE. PASSAGE WILL SHOW THAT WE WANT STRONG BORDERS & SECURITY WHILE THE DEMS WANT OPEN BORDERS = CRIME. WIN!

Well I guess he really means it this time since it’s in ALL CAPS. Heh.
if you remember, Trump just said the other day in frustration that Republicans should stop wasting their time on immigration until after the election. So I guess he’s backed off that position.
UPDATE:
Laura Ingraham is not very happy about this bill that Trump is supporting:
The GOP immigration bill @realDonaldTrump is supporting is not good on chain migration — insufficient limits (still allows for adult children and parents), also amnesty in total for almost 2 million. Needs amending.

Trump also congratulates Maxine Waters for being the unhinged face of the Democrat Party, along with Nancy Pelosi:
Congratulations to Maxine Waters, whose crazy rants have made her, together with Nancy Pelosi, the unhinged FACE of the Democrat Party. Together, they will Make America Weak Again! But have no fear, America is now stronger than ever before, and I’m not going anywhere!

MAWA?
You know it kinda sounds like Trump is conceding that Republicans might lose when he says ‘But have no fear….I’m not going anywhere’, just after he says that Waters and Pelosi will Make America Weak Again. I’m not sure that’s his intention, but kinda sounds like it.
Anyway, happy Wednesday!
