Trump makes STATEMENT to reporters about new Kavanaugh allegations

Reporters caught up to Trump this morning on the phony new allegations being made against Kavanaugh and here’s what he had to say:

Here’s more:

President Trump on Monday offered a full-throated defense of his Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh in the face of new allegations of sexual misconduct, calling the claims “totally political.”

“He is a fine man with an unblemished past and these are highly unsubstantiated statements from people represented by lawyers,” the president said as he arrived at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. “Judge Kavanaugh is an outstanding person and I am with him all the way.”

He continued, “For people to come out of the woodwork from 36 years ago and 30 years ago and never mention it, all of a sudden it happens, in my opinion, it’s totally political. It’s totally political.”

Trump also says this may be “one of the single most unfair, unjust things to happen to a candidate for anything.”

This is pretty tame as statements go for Trump. And to be honest, it comes across much better this way than if he’d said it on Twitter.

But the big point is that he’s exactly right about this and everyone with common sense knows it.

You’d think with the way the Democrats are trying to smear Kavanaugh, that he’s going to rule TOMORROW to make abortion illegal. They know it’s coming and they are scared straight that they are going to lose their baby murdering factories – otherwise known as Planned Parenthood. That’s all this is about.
