I’ve seen this charge before and people base it purely on their expectation that people give a crap about politics, which they don’t. We’ve noted on our website, which is not terribly pro-Trump, that Hillary stories do very poorly compared to anything that has the word “Trump” in the headline. So of course you’d expect those stories not to do as well on social media.
