Michael Cohen has cancelled his congressional testimony in the House, citing threats by Trump, in a statement by his lawyer Lanny Davis (via TheBlaze):
Due to ongoing threats against his family from President Trump and Mr. Giuliani, as recently as this weekend, as well as Mr. Cohen’s continued cooperation with ongoing investigations, by advice of counsel, Mr. Cohen’s appearance will be postponed to a later date.
The threats they are likely referring to may be these tweets, with the last one coming this last Friday:
“Michael Cohen asks judge for no Prison Time.” You mean he can do all of the TERRIBLE, unrelated to Trump, things having to do with fraud, big loans, Taxis, etc., and not serve a long prison term? He makes up stories to get a GREAT & ALREADY reduced deal for himself, and get.....

Trump responded to Cohen cancelling his testimony today when asked about it by the press, saying he’s only been threatened by the truth:

Elijah Cummings, the new chair of the Oversight committee, has been flummoxed by this, but vows he will get Cohen’s testimony:

"as sure as night becomes day & day becomes night.” Says if Hse is cowed by the President, “then we should all just pack up and go home.”
I ask if Cohen is acting in good faith. Cummings: “I believe he is.”
