Trump is not going to self-fund his campaign for president going forward, and this has raised the question of whether he will use the new general election funds he raises to pay back his campaign.
According to MSNBC, Trump is telling them that the loans he gave his campaign is a ‘contribution’ and that he has no intention of paying himself back:

Honestly, I don’t believe this. I think he will pay himself back at some point, especially if he loses. So I wouldn’t hold my breath on him converting his loans to a ‘donation’ with the FEC anytime soon.
