This morning on Truth Social, Trump told Republicans to defend Biden’s DOJ and FBI until they learn not to weaponize their institutions.
Trump wrote in all caps, “REPUBLICANS IN CONGRESS SHOULD DEFUND THE DOJ AND FBI UNTIL THEY COME TO THEIR SENSES. THE DEMOCRATS HAVE TOTALLY WEAPONIZED LAW ENFORCEMENT IN OUR COUNTRY AND ARE VICIOUSLY USING THIS ABUSE OF POWER TO INTERFERE WITH OUR ALREADY UNDER SIEGE ELECTIONS!”

Trump isn’t wrong about the DOJ and FBI. They became corrupt under Obama and Biden has continued their corruption, using them to target his main political enemy, Donald Trump.
But as corrupt as they are, I just don’t see Republicans having the will to even suggest defunding the DOJ and FBI.
It would never pass even if they did make such an attempt in the budget, but it would be awesome to see some backbone.
