It’s really amazing to me the extent at which Trump will go in order to criticize the governor of Florida.
Just an hour ago Trump decided to side with leftist Disney against Governor DeSantis and his plan to hold the company accountable and ensure Disney is treated like every other company in Florida.
Here’s what he said:
“DeSanctus is being absolutely destroyed by Disney. His original P.R. plan fizzled, so now he’s going back with a new one in order to save face. Disney’s next move will be the announcement that no more money will be invested in Florida because of the Governor – In fact, they could even announce a slow withdrawal or sale of certain properties, or the whole thing. Watch! That would be a killer. In the meantime, this is all so unnecessary, a political STUNT! Ron should work on the squatter MESS!”
This is asinine. Disney tried to outmaneuver DeSantis on this Reedy Creek Improvement District but they’ve failed. DeSantis’ original plan to hold Disney accountable has not fizzled. He’s not being destroyed. It’s right on track and DeSantis is winning this battle, as he announced yesterday.
What I don’t understand is the strategy here by Trump. Did he not see Disney’s blatant activism opposing a bill that protected children in lower grades from LGBT groomers? That’s how all of this got started. Did he not see all the videos of Disney planning to indoctrinate children with even more of their LGBT garbage via their programming? Seriously, what gain is it for Trump to side with a leftist company like this against DeSantis? It makes no sense.
Trump should be praising DeSantis for all of this. Instead his son is siding with Bud Light against a boycott and he’s siding with a leftist company hellbent on pushing their LGBT agenda on children.
