Trump threatens Mexico over ‘caravan of people’ heading for US…..and more

Last night we reported that Mexican officials actually plan to intercept the caravan of migrants headed for the US border on Wednesday.

This morning Trump is still keeping the pressure on the country, even threatening them with NAFTA if they fail to stop them:

He also suggests that Honduras could lose some of their aid if they continue to allow migrants to head for the US border.

Trump is right that we need a secure border and that would solve many of our issues. But I really don’t like the fact that he’s holding NAFTA over Mexico’s head like this. Our free trade shouldn’t depend on whether or not Mexico stops a caravan of people headed here looking for asylum.
