Trump tweet might mean the end of coronavirus task force briefings

El Presidente Trumpo signaled that he might end the coronavirus task force media briefings completely.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he cut them out altogether. There was not a polite reception to his musings about injecting light into your veins to eradicate coronavirus at the media briefing, or disinfectants. On Friday, he practically ran out of the room after a very short update. On the other hand, without being able to have rallies, this is the best way to get a large audience for the prezzy. He’s also made lots of threats that he didn’t follow through with. We shall see what happens.

This is pretty sensible:

While a lot of the debate around the coronavirus response has been wildly irresponsible, the guiding principle for reasonable debate really should be avoiding a solution that is worse than the problem. His instinct here is correct.

Hmmm. This is problematic because he said “Deborah” by name, and she responded to his question, on camera. But since we are in hyper-partisan times, I guess tie goes to the president.

Then he goes after the media and the Democrats on a common narrative:
