We all wondered how long it would take for Trump to make excuses for why he settled the Trump University case, and it took about a day:

It was an act of sacrifice! He swears that he could have won it, no really!! Now there’s nothing to keep his lawyers to keep fighting the lawsuit while he pretended to be President, but this is the perfect excuse.
And some liberals suspect that he orchestrated the Hamilton scandal to cover up the Trump U. settlement:

Which is kinda nutty because he’d have had to know that liberals would boo Mike Pence, and then give a sanctimonious speech after he left. And why would he tweet about it if he was trying to distract from it? I guess we’re all conspiracy theorists now….
