Trump issued a long statement today on his signing of the bill levying new sanctions on Russia for their election meddling, calling the bill “seriously flawed”.
In the statement he whacks Congress for encroaching on his authority to negotiate foreign affairs, even pointing to their inability to negotiate a new health care bill.
But despite his reservations about the bill, Trump says he signed it for the purpose of national unity.
