Sources close to The Donald’s victorious campaign team tell us now that the billionaire will be running the country, he no longer plans to sue nearly a dozen women who’ve accused him of sexual misconduct in the weeks leading up to the election.
“Trump has decided not to pursue the lawsuits against the women who spoke out against him,” says an insider with close ties to Trump. “The Trump camp went to attorneys to discuss the lawsuits, but they have no plans to pursue them.”
Trump vowed at an Oct. 22 campaign rally in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, that he’d fight back against 10 women who’d accused him of sexual misconduct after video emerged of the “Apprentice” host bragging about being able to get away with assaulting women because he’s a celebrity. Trump dismissed that conversation as “locker room talk” and denies each of his accusers’ claims.
While this is good because it signals that he’s not as vindictive against his opponents unless it’s in his best interests, it also shows that anything he said before the election has absolutely no bearing on what he’s going to do after the election.
