Tucker Carlson was asked last Monday why he didn’t, when he had the chance, to ask Putin about Navalny and assassinations, among other things.
Carlson responded “Every leader kills people, some kill more than others. Leadership requires killing people…”

This was before the news broke that Navalny had suddenly died in a harsh Russian prison camp after being seen healthy just days beforehand. But since Navalny did survive a priar assassination attempt, it would have been a great question. Unless you just excuse it all by thinking “every leader kills people” or something.
