Tucker Carlson offered up another faux-debate for those craving red meat rhetoric, this time with a kid from American University who wants a trustee fired simply for meeting with Trump.

Once again Tucker Carlson takes what should be a pretty straight forward argument and makes the stupidest irrational statements – he actually asks the kid if it’s a crime to meet with Donald Trump. What kind of question is that? How is any answer going to illuminate anything on either side?
He calls the kid a hypocrite and then says he should stop calling names. This is all very satisfying for people who just want to see a supposed right-winger “destroy” a dumb liberal, but it’s wretchedly irrational. It’s no wonder people get so stubborn and smug about their tribalistic political positions when this is held up as reasoned debate.
