That’s Bana Alabed, the Syrian girl who got tons of attention when her Twitter account documented her escape from war-torn Aleppo. But some have cast doubt on her story, noting that the Twitter account seemed to speak much better proper English than she does, and when she was rescued she thanked Turkey’s dictator Erdogan in a fawning photo op.
I guess all it takes is propaganda with a cute girl to get Hollywood morons to ignore how complex the Middle East is.

This is a huge propaganda victory for a Muslim dictator who is accused of using the excuse of ISIS to hunt down his political enemies, cracks down on the media in his own country, and looks to be creating his own Muslim caliphate with himself as the totalitarian leader.
