If you thought the 2016 Trump dossier that Hillary and the DNC funded was dead, think again. Not long after Trump was sworn in as president, around 7 or so billionaire donors put 50 million together and re-hired Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele to keep working on the dirty dossier:
DAILY MAIL – The House Intelligence Committee quietly revealed on Friday that a shadowy group of wealthy donors has spent $50 million to continue the work that resulted in the ‘dirty dossier’ of unsubstantiated claims against President Donald Trump.
Now another Washington firm, the Penn Quarter Group, has collected $50 million from a handful of funders to keep the ball rolling.
It has hired Steele and Fusion GPS to take part, and promises to share its findings with the FBI and the media.
The Penn Quarter Group’s founding principal, Daniel Jones, is a former senior staffer to Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein, and worked for her on the Senate Intelligence Committee.
‘In late March 2017,’ a lengthy footnote in the House Intelligence Committee’s report reads, ‘Jones met with FBI regarding PQG [Penn Quarter Group], which he described as “exposing foreign influence in Western elections”.’
‘[Jones] told FBI that PQG was being funded by 7 to 10 wealthy donors located primarily in New York and California, who provided approximately $50 million [and] further stated that PQG had secured the services fo Steele, his associate [REDACTED], and Fusion GPS to continue exposing Russian influence in the 2016 U.S. Presidential election.’
Jones, the report continues, ‘planned to share the information he obtained with policymakers on Capitol Hill and with the press,’ and also offered to provide PQG’s entire holdings to the FBI.’
According to the Daily Caller, the group of billionaires is officially running under the name “Democracy Integrity Project”. I’m sure this group has their eyes on either impeachment or 2020, whichever they can get to first.
So get ready to hear (or possibly see) more about this unverified dossier in the future, especially if it becomes ‘verified’ which I seriously doubt.
