Earlier today Twitter blocked Luke Thompson’s Twitter account for posting this tweet:
While you were having a nice Valentine's Day, @AOC decided to put her boyfriend on staff – drawing a salary on the taxpayer's dime. Nice to see her adapting to the swamp so quickly. pic.twitter.com/bvncwzxY53
— Luke Thompson (@ltthompso) February 15, 2019
Pretty soon Thompson got a response from Twitter telling him to delete the tweet because it reveals private information:
. @ltthompso, who tweeted this morning about @aoc 's boyfriend having a House email address, has been locked out of his Twitter account, per screenshot he sent me: pic.twitter.com/VXpN1XVTDf

The information however wasn’t private information, as Thompson said he got it from the House Member’s directory.
Twitter has since released Thompson and allowed his tweet to stay up (as you see above):
I'm back everybody! pic.twitter.com/l7m4swoTcy
— Luke Thompson (@ltthompso) February 15, 2019
I suspect someone at Twitter didn’t realize it was in fact public information and blocked the account by mistake. That doesn’t bother me, since Twitter took the block away after apparently realizing their mistake.
So yeah, I really wouldn’t get exercised over this and make a big deal about it. Mistakes happen to the best of us.
Back to the original tweet, Thompson had accused AOC of putting her boyfriend on staff and paying him with government funds. But according to AOC, he was just given a federal email address so he could access her calendar:
Actually this cal designation is a permission so he can have access to my Google Cal. Congressional spouses get Gcal access all the time.

Next time check your facts before you tweet nonsense.
So all in all, there’s really nothing to see here.
