Elon Musk has opened the files and delivered the info again, in Twitter Files Part 2, which this time comes via former New York Times writer Bari Weiss.
It proves the things we’ve always said about the Big Tech Purge, that they’ve always denied, and they are now trying to rewrite history and gaslight everyone over it, and it’s really astonishing and kind of sad.

6. Twitter denied that it does such things. In 2018, Twitter's Vijaya Gadde (then Head of Legal Policy and Trust) and Kayvon Beykpour (Head of Product) said: “We do not shadow ban.” They added: “And we certainly don’t shadow ban based on political viewpoints or ideology.”

17. The account—which Chaya Raichik began in November 2020 and now boasts over 1.4 million followers—was subjected to six suspensions in 2022 alone, Raichik says. Each time, Raichik was blocked from posting for as long as a week.

Before the new reporting most people knew shadow-banning happened but there was always an out where people could say you just weren’t as popular as you thought. (I’ve never suspected I was shadow banned, sometimes I just suck, but obviously some people were.)
