Today Jim Acosta, thinking he was being clever, revealed his partisanship in a tweet against Trump’s executive order idea to stop birthright citizenship.
Here’s his tweet:
The Constitution > Executive Order

He’s actually not wrong. But I know what you’re all thinking.
It’s the same thing EVERYONE else on the right was thinking when he said it.
Here’s a few examples:

I'm trying to recall when you said this about Obama with his phone and his pen. 🤔 https://t.co/8vIB1kaodo

I actually went back to see what Acosta had to say about Obama’s executive order on DACA. Nothing really. He just tweeted three times on it and they were all just statements from senior Obama officials. Not once did he ever tweet anything remotely like this about any of Obama’s executive orders.
No back then he was having fun with the idea of executive orders:
By executive order I declare this mug off limits to @JohnBerman @EarlyStart #MugsNow pic.twitter.com/sgRQ0whmMG
