Two major conservatives get CANCELED by Politico after woke mob erupted over Ben Shapiro decision

We knew this would happen and it wasn’t hard to predict.

Two weeks ago we told you about Ben Shapiro being invited by Politico editors to write their morning Playbook and how that triggered woke liberals into outrage all over the media, including at Politico, who read the Playbook every morning.

At the time Politico defended the decision, saying:

“We published a piece by a very prominent writer, provocateur, and podcaster. We stand by every word in there, it was very closely edited. Mischief making has always been a part of Politico’s secret sauce. We were an upstart. Some of that sensibility is always going to be a part of this publication.”

But just this week The Daily Beast wrote an article reporting that over 100+ outraged Politico staffers wrote the company’s chairman and publisher a letter decrying the move:

I noted at the end of my article two weeks ago that I believed Politico would end up breaking under the pressure, and now it appears they did exactly that, canceling both Guy Benson and Mary Katherine Ham after enthusiastically inviting them to write the Playbook:

The woke liberal mob, which clearly runs Politico’s newsroom, wins again. This is exactly what happened when the New York Times allowed Senator Tom Cotton to write an opinion piece entitled “Send in the troops” last year during disastrous uprisings around the nation. Except in that instance the fallout was worse, as it cost the man who ran the Times’ opinion section his job.

I don’t know if anyone will lose their job over this at Politico, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they did. The woke liberal mob isn’t interested any longer in dialogue or agreeing to disagree. No, the opposition must be SILENCED so these radical socialists can rule with an iron fist. That is what they want and that sentiment seems to be shared by many these days. Just ask Parler.
