Last night at UFC 273, Gov. Ron DeSantis got a raucous, roaring, high-fiving CHAMPION’s reception from the crowd that clearly loves him. It was awesome.
The press LOVE to air these videos when it’s someone of pure and unassailable character like ex-governor Andrew Cuomo or presidementia Joe. But you won’t see this Jacksonville, Florida crowd going bonkers for Gov. DeSantis on CNN. Although they’d run it 24/7 like a Democrat campaign ad if he were booed, you better believe it.
I split this in two clips so you can see each moment in its own light. In the first, he gets a champion’s welcome as he makes an entrance like a prize fighter surrounded by adoring fans.
In the second one, he sits for an ESPN hit that was obviously also being shown on the jumbotron. The crowd goes BANANAS and ESPN’s Jon Anik points it out.
