In what was clearly an error in President Trump’s top officials, the hack editor-in-chief for the Atlantic was added to a Signal chat in which plans were shared about the coming Houthi attack on March 15th.
The people in the chat were members of Trump’s cabinet like Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, as well as others like Susie Wiles.
Jeffrey Goldberg claims he was added to the group by National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, and now he’s leaking out some of the comments made by Vance and Hegseth:
Questions abound about why this hack was included in the chat to begin with. Like “Why did Waltz add an Atlantic reporter to that group chat?”
Jeffrey Goldberg from The Atlantic claims that Hegseth messaged US war plans for Houthi targets in Yemen to a Signal group chat he was added to by Michael Waltz.
The group chat contained JD Vance, Marco Rubio, Tulsi Gabbard, John Ratcliffe, Steve Witkoff, Susie Wiles, etc.

My biggest question about this is why in the heck is anyone in the administration speaking to a ridiculous hack like Jeffrey Goldberg in the first place?
These are lessons that should have been learned years ago. https://t.co/9AJ7xysqnc

What an embarrassment.
