Today it’s being reported that Tony Podesta’s name is not on the list of those Mueller is requesting immunity to testify against Manafort:
AXIOS – Special counsel Bob Mueller’s request that five witnesses be granted immunity in exchange for testifying against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort was granted today, per Talking Points Memo.
The details: The five witnesses — Donna Duggan, James Brennan, Conor O’Brien, Cindy Laporta, and Dennis Raico — all have been linked with Manafort’s finances, according to NBC News. Manafort is facing charges of financial crimes allegedly committed while working for pro-Russian factions in Ukraine before he worked for the Trump campaign.
Notice that Podesta’s name is not on the list, as Frank Luntz points out:
Last week, “anonymous sources” claimed that one of the 5 people receiving immunity to testify against Paul Manafort was Tony Podesta.
Today, the names were released – and none of them are Tony Podesta.

At first glance, that’s a problem for Tucker Carlson and his anonymous sources.
But not so fast. Carlson says that’s about a different case than the one his sources were reporting on…
Our sources maintain that Tony Podesta has been offered immunity to testify in Paul Manafort’s criminal trial in D.C. regarding criminal FARA violations. The witness list released today surrounds Manafort’s VA trial which mainly involves tax violations. https://t.co/sfQvd1ahdb

Ok then. It looks like Carslon’s anonymous sources credibility is still intact.
Given the reporting in the last hour, I just wanted to make sure you had the right information.
