A new national poll out this morning has Bernie Sanders in a huge lead over Biden and the rest of the party:
BREAKING: Bernie Sanders is soaring and Joe Biden has crashed in national preference for the Democratic primary, new @ABC News/WaPo poll finds—while Iowa and New Hampshire helped clear room for a candidate not yet on the ballot: Mike Bloomberg. https://t.co/t2bD8u1cKb pic.twitter.com/QK5ZQq4hsL

Biden appears to be dropping like a rock as Sanders is surging.
In another national poll out today, Biden drops eight points as Sanders moves soundly into first place:
NEW Emerson College national poll (v. late Jan):
Bernie Sanders: 29%⬆️2
Joe Biden: 22%⬇️8
Michael Bloomberg: 14%⬆️7
Elizabeth Warren: 12%⬇️1
Pete Buttigieg: 8%⬆️2
Amy Klobuchar: 6%⬆️2
Tulsi Gabbard: 4%⬆️3
Tom Steyer: 3%⬆️2— Emma Kinery (@EmmaKinery) February 19, 2020
Sanders clearly has the wind as his back right now. But these are just national polls.
A new poll out in South Carolina, whose primary is later this month, has Bernie tied with Biden and Steyer close on their heels:
#NEW #SouthCarolina @ChangePolls:
Sanders 23%
Biden 23%
Steyer 20%
Buttigieg 15%
Warren 9%
Klobuchar 8%
Gabbard 1%— Political Polls (@PpollingNumbers) February 19, 2020
Biden used to lead by double digits in South Carolina. But now all the polling shows the race very close or, in this case, tied. Put that with this poll from Nevada that came out yesterday and Biden may very well be toast:
New Nevada poll from @DataProgress:
Sanders 35%
Warren 16%
Buttigieg 15%
Biden 14%
Steyer 10%
Klobuchar 9%
Gabbard 2%— Daily Caller (@DailyCaller) February 17, 2020
