President Trump just took to Truth Social this morning and wrote, what I honestly feel like, is a very inappropriate screed about Rob and Michelle Reiner, who were violently murdered last night by their son.
Honestly, I don’t know how Trump thinks this is okay.
Here’s what he wrote:
A very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood. Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS. He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before. May Rob and Michele rest in peace!
His death is because of his TDS????
I know Trump has his personality quirks, and this is one of them. In life, attacking a man and his wife for TDS might have been appropriate. But in death, there is simply no good that can come from attacking Rob and Michelle Reiner like this, in my opinion.
Trump can be very generous at times, but this ain’t one of them. I wish he’d never have written this because it repels people. And I worry that it will just make people who, perhaps tolerate him for the good of the country, go the other way and vote against him and Republicans the next election.
Ugh.
