But before ya’ll flip out, I’m pretty sure he was just whispering something in the kid’s ear. I found the original and it happens at about the 25 second mark:
You can see the kid shake his head to whatever Biden said to him. I expect it was something about taking him up to the podium because that’s exactly what Biden did, grabbing the kid by the arm and leading him up there.
Either way, it still feels like a creepy trend after all the videos we’ve seen of Biden making kids feel uncomfortable.
