University sponsored ad campaign of ‘white guilt’ paints minorities as victims of their own birth

Progressives never cease to amaze me at the depths they won’t go to push division in the culture. And this ad campaign, sponsored by the University of Minnesota – Duluth, is designed to push the idea that our society is made for whites and that those who aren’t born white are victims of a white society (via Campus Reform):

Often Rush will talk about how liberals live a bitter existence because they hate themselves and they feel guilty for what the have or who they are. This video makes his point.

I’d also add that this is what happens when people don’t know in their heart that God created them exactly the way they are and they are indeed special and need to feel no guilt for the color of their skin:

Psalm 139:14 – I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.

  1. Yes, white females are “privileged” to have U.S Dept Of Justice figures that show 2007 as a typical year in which over 37,000 white females were sexually assaulted by black males. For the same period, the stats were so low for black females sexually assaulted by white males as to be at the statistically negligible 0 to 10 crimes. No, really. Colonel Neville.

  2. The Progressives are all about race they can’t see beyond color, they are the Racists in America!

  3. This is what our Western Society has come to when Progressives have made people so dependent on government – the only thing they have left is to cry is racism when they are told to take personal responsibility for their lives.

  4. I feel so privileged to be an American. That’s it. That’s the only privilege I need. I get the opportunity to make of myself whatever I choose it just depends on my hard work and effort and desire to see it done.

All this race stuff is total imbecilic crap. Its meant to divide us, destroy our values and make us fearful to express ourselves when we see wrong doing.

The Left needs us to be paralyzed so that they can continue on their road to total destruction of the America of our Founders. Race is the perfect ploy in this.

They used to be able to shut down argument with the “you’re being racist” line but it doesn’t wash anymore. The Left are like a broken record and do you know what you do with a broken record? Well, you don’t wanna listen to it so you toss it in the trash.

  5. The irony that burns here is that liberals are some of the most racist people that I’ve ever met. They see everything by skin color. They don’t want equal opportunity but advantages in our society that other people of every color actually work for and achieve. Well, I can cross off another university that I would never sending my kids to.

  6. No. I refuse to feel guilty because I was born white. I also refuse to see myself as a victim because I was born female.

Life is unfair. It’s been that way in every era. In every country. Deal with it or crawl back under your rock you bunch of whiney turds.

“Obstacles are what you see when you take your eyes off the goal.”

  7. Since the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was passed blacks have had the opportunity to improve themselves, they chose to become democrats, listen to the race baiters, and live like they never left slavery. Every group that comes to the US has that same opportunity. Blacks now choose to live the way they do, they have become dependent on the public dole and the more they get for free the more they feel they deserve.

White boy; wash that crap off your face you idiot.

  8. Whites are the only race who insult themselves and are ashame of their race. Yes sorry W-T, white is a race. No other race insults themselves like whites do. How pathetic!

  9. This is brilliant! Only the genius of the progs could in a mere 30 seconds show how self righteous and self loathing they are. They truly are our betters.

  10. The only colors that should matter at all in this country are Red, White and Blue (Attention libs… I’m NOT talking about skin tone).

We need to remove all the qualifiers in front of the word ‘American’ and go back to putting America first.

  11. The Tale of the Pot Roast and Two Presidents; the current occupant and the future occupant probably would never reach the oval office but for the pot roast. The pot roast legendโ€™s recipe requires the cook to trim a few inches from the roast and for generations each subsequent cook would trim away. Then, one day an inquiring mind wanted to know why they had to trim the roast. It turns out it the original roast did not fit into the roasting pan. Then, another day some brilliant minds decided the only criterion for President of the United States of America was how much melanin would fit on the ballot and they forgot about the words of wisdom of Martin Luther King, Jr. on character. That is the story of how Obama and “anyone but Obama” became the President of United States.

  12. So if whites are privileged, then blacks are handicapped? That explains why so many of my black coworkers hate me.

I guess I should be grateful for the privilege of growing up in foster care simply because I was born a whiteguy2.

  13. That is the crap that is taught these days at our most esteemed centers of learning. After all racism and bigotry is taught.

  14. Liberals/Democrats are sick in the head. This video proves how warped their twisted ideology is. They live in a make believe fantasy world and lack any common sense. I would say minorities have the advantage in our nation today with Affirmative Action policies and Government mandated hiring standards.

    1. Winning one’s own place in society is so much more satisfying to achieve, through excellence and elbow grease. Why would anyone want to hold back anybody else by trying to give false credence to non-accomplishment. This tape seems to promote that very thing, just as twited as you say.

  15. You know you people are right it is so unfair. It is unfair that you vote for a being because of the color of his skin; skin he has no control over. Should we thank you for the privilege of watching the destruction of our country? Thank you for electing an arrogant, bumbling, economic illiterate, embarrassment, and incompetent fool to our highest office. Oh, I forgot his eloquent speech impediment which he and his sycophants wow we the people. Imagine if B.O.’s dialect would to be to us what “Castillian? Spanish is to Spain.

  16. That might be one of the most revolting things I’ve ever seen.

What an insult to blacks, as well as countless whites who stood up for equality.

  17. I refuse to be ashamed or feel guilty for who I am. I was born with this color skin, this personality, this opinionated streak. Was I born with a silver spoon in my mouth? No. I was born and given up and spent the first few months of my life in a foster home. Did my mom and dad who adopted me have privilage and wealth, no, but my dad who worked hard all his life, worked hard enough to provide a good life for his family, working at the same company from the time he was 17 sweeping floors until he retired as the company VP. Was it privilage and skin color which made him an executive? I doubt it. I think his working 20 hours a day might have had something to do with it, and investing his money wisely.
Do I have a lot in material wealth now? No. Is it someone elses fault? No. I chose to stay home to raise my child, and even with a very shaky one income, sometimes no income, we have still come through. Why, according to these clowns, I ought to be rioting in the streets with all the other so called 99. But then again, I’m white, so I ought to give what bit I have to the goverment so they can properly redisitribute it to the underprivilaged black folks who they deem too useless, stupid, incompitant and imbicilic to do for themselves what others from all walks of life have been doing since time began. In the words of John Stossel… give me a break.
Shut your mouths and wake up to reality.

    1. I say we have worked hard and built a society that it inclusive of all colors and ethnicities, everyone is invited to join in if they are willing to work at it and be a part of it.

Ignorance is bliss. A bunch of white people trying to save blacks from themselves by blaming themselves.

  18. I refuse to feel bad for being born and if they do they have medications for that.

  19. As usual, whites are the perpetrators and blacks and other minorities are the victims. Old tired and ridiculous assertions.

  20. Just yesterday I had a cop tail me for at least 15 minutes. I mean inches from my bumper. It was so bad that I finally turned on my hazzards and pulled over. He then turned on his lights and called through his loud speaker for me to step out of my car. Appearantly it is suspect to voluntarily pull over before being asked to. Long story short, after he was sure I wasn’t a threat, or the guy he was looking for, he took the cuffs off me and I was on my way. I didn’t feel very privledged yesterday, nor any day really. I do have a pretty awsome tan, though. Maybe they have a point….not.

  21. I often admire White people in general, and looking at your comments here (assuming most of you are White) reminds me of why. Even now, when so many Whites voted in a Black president, when so many Whites pay taxes that ensure so many non-Whites who pay nothing can avail of health and education services……and even now when you see the kinds of anti-White propaganda (this horrorshow in the video is just the tip of the iceberg folks), you still want to be colorblind and think this is how the many non-White groups growing in America will see you too.
I know you mean well, but, sorry:that just isn’t reality anymore.
Many of them hate you (starting with the President and many in his cabinet) and are literally counting the seconds until they can kiss your memory goodbye. At least that is what they hope they will be doing…….;)

As well as all that, this year is the first year that non-White births are the majority in America. Happy times for your grandchildren huh? I doubt it.

The writing is on the wall. It’s time for Whites to start talking and acting in ways that are good for US: not everyone else. And there is NOTHING to be ashamed of for doing so. Your fore-bearers did it for YOU. Do we too not owe it to our future generations?

    1. I’m sorry. I don’t like racism. Never have, never will. The only way we stop this type of attitude is to get away from statements like, “I often admire White people in general”. That’s where it starts. I don’t consider myself white. I’m not a Caucasoid-American. I don’t see Asian-Americans, Mexican-Americans, or Afro-Americans as anything other than Americans.

It starts within, in each and every one of us, to change the atmosphere of racial tensions. If someone treats me with racial disrespect, I consider him an Ahole, not a racial Ahole. Period. Skin color to me equates to shoe color. No better, no worse.

      1. I strongly disagree. It most certainly DOES begin with admiring our own people, pointing out what is good and beautiful about ourselves is something we simply don’t do enough of anymore.
        And we ARE a people.
America was founded by White men.
I don’t mean to be offensive but your ‘feelings’ of “not liking racism” do not change that, nor do your feelings negate the very real anti-White spirit that roams around our world in these perilous times. I don’t think any of us “like” racism as such, but here we are forced into a corner, so to speak. Denying what is happening won’t help any of us. Our children and grandchildren and being subjected to this anti-White programming through music, television, public school, internet, etc…….and don’t imagine that the world they face will be filled with many who will be as kind to them and you yearn to be towards others. I wish it were so, but sadly, the evidence doesn’t appear to support such a dream.

Loving and doing what is right for your own does NOT mean you have to mistreat or hate others. It just means setting priorities and ensuring White children have a safe and beautiful space to flourish.

  22. How do these progressives explain successful black People, such as “I’m the biggest victim of ALL” OBAMA?

    1. Like this: “He’s an exception and the whites in the GOP still hate him. Not because he’s a Constitution-stomping, self-centered, incompetent, and a Marxist, but just because he’s black.”

  23. Another great scripture for these “privileged white folk” is Matt 19:21-24.

Jesus answered, โ€œIf you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.โ€
When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.
Then Jesus said to his disciples, โ€œTruly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.โ€

They complain about their wealth, but you will NEVER see one give it all up. NEVER.

    1. It amazes me that African Americans continue to fall for this crapola. Jesse Jackson is clearly a racist bigot, but his followers don’t see it. Dems keep blacks under their thumbs and say they need welfare, and their voters think that’s being kind.

Like that billboard about high abortion rates in black communities. The very people it was trying to help declared it was racist. Amazing! Heartbreaking!

    2. Maybe I just see things differently, but my read is that these white guilt promoters are saying that they themselves are racists, and think everyone else is too. It’s just laughable in that light. ๐Ÿ™‚

  24. I won’t watch this.

It’s stunning how vapid liberals are… they are perpetually wacky on the junk. Scoop, I think you nailed it both in comment and verse. God loves each of us… period.

  25. The video is a disgrace. Libs are always telling blacks we believe they are inferior to the white race. We will never have complete racial harmony when the libs constantly race bait and make special rules for different people. It needs to end.

    1. A case of a black woman was one that got accepted into a very expensive college (like Harvard, but not sure which one) entirely because she was black. She did not qualify with her grades and the admittance was given entirely because of adversity requirements. Any guesses what happened to her?‘ – kong

Did she end up marrying a drug-taking, Marxist-worshiping, narcissistic President-wannabe? Sounds familiar, but I just can’t place her.

      1. Lol, that’s funny.

You caught me before I deleted the entire rant. I thought it was too long and no one would read it.

        1. No, no. You need to restore it. It was great. I, too, sometimes wonder if my rants don’t go on too long and I should strive for shorter statements. But there are times when it’s absolutely necessary.

    2. Ok, I think I restored it…basically‘ – kong

Isn’t that tough. When Disqus screws up and deletes one of my long posts, I find it excruciatingly difficult to restore it to it’s former self. Sometimes thoughts come at the spur of the moment and just can’t be duplicated.

Having said that, I think you did a stellar job.

  26. Yeah the same minorities that have affirmative action and for blacks NAACP. Yeah they are being tarred and feathered!

  27. Psalm 139:14 โ€“ I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.

What a great answer to the woes of the liberals!

    1. Wo wo whoa! Not so fast there bad… I tend to think there may be some truth to the rumor that libs just may indeed be spawn of Satan.

John 8:44 “… You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire.”

I say this in jest of course… for my lib friends’ benefit.

    1. Whoa dude… you’re so harsh. ๐Ÿ™‚

Couldn’t agree with you more. This seems to only exist because racists (Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, CBC, etc.) and liberals keep bringing it up so they can exploit or profit from it. I’d love to see minorities stand up and shut these Aholes down. Not gonna happen I know… but we should be WAY past this by now since we’re so tolerant and PC as a country.

      1. Yeah, Guess my wording could be considered harsh. If I offended anyone please excuse me. ๐Ÿ™‚

        1. Naw, I’m just yanking your chain… for crap like this, you almost can’t be “harsh” enough. You are spot on with your comment. Potty mouth.

          Kidding. ๐Ÿ™‚

  28. The minorities that I know don’t complain about their color or mine; we treat each other as equals and that works. In the military (I’ve been retired for 20 years) you better treat each other as equals, or you’ll be out of uniform in no time. That’s what I loved about being in the service…you had to cooperate to get missions accomplished, forget about color and concentrate on competence, ability, and loyalty and who’s got your back when the going get tough or dangerous.

    1. I served 20 in the USAF. You are so right. I honestly NEVER saw any discrimination based on race or color while in the service… ever. I miss the Air Force… it was straight forward and simple: We are a team, do your job, don’t make trouble, perform with honor and distinction. We always treated others respectfully. I miss it…

          1. From my experience, blacks and mexicans can simply not show up to work (CONSTANTLY), and no one will call them on it because if they do, they will INSTANTLY get investigated by OSI for racism. It’s a HUGE hassle, and no one wants to deal with it…

I’ve never seen anyone being racist towards anyone, but I have seen race come into play regarding disciplining people. If you aren’t White, you can pretty much get away with anything (although there have been some blacks and mexicans I worked with who were AWESOME workers).

And yes…it is sad. It was NOT what I was expecting when I enlisted in 2006…

            1. When I was stationed down in the Honduras, there were 8 of us in a hooch. We all worked together and then after work, sat around a socialized. We also bought food at the BX and off the local economy and were blessed to have a working refrigerator. Now and then, loved ones would send us something homemade or we’d get a gallon of real milk from South Carolina flown in. We all stored it in the community fridge to keep it fresh and clear of bugs or scorpions.

We had one black guy in our group who kept eating anything he wanted from the fridge even though most of it didn’t belong to him. We repeatedly yelled at him to stop it but he kept right on doing it. I could go on about this to build more outrage but at the end of the day, he was never punished or counselled for some unknown reason. As a result, a big guy named Bannon nearly threw him across the room (literally) – a seriously punishable offense under the UCMJ.

Overall, I had no issues with race that I can remember. But there was definitely something wrong in this situation. I’m sorry you’ve had some bad experiences… in the civilian sector (corpate world), I’ve seen a little bit more of that… but nothing extraordinary.

              Take care my friend.

    2. I’ve known a few who openly complained about unfairness because of their skin color, but, overall, the others were no different from you and me.

  29. OMG, where was Tamara Holder in this video? I know she’s in there somewhere.

    1. Right on right on!

BTW – to the young “lady” may I say, “Sorry chicky, I don’t see you because your nose ring screams louder about who you really are.”
