I’m gonna admit I didn’t know that the Russians want the Korean peninsula divided for their own self-interests. And that means that China and Russia have reasons to veto anything the U.N. might cook up against the Norks.
Trump keeps saying that China is gonna shut down North Korea – honestly, that sounds like a pipe dream to me. He wants to believe there’s an easy answer here and I don’t think there is one.
Here’s what he said yesterday before we knew it was an ICBM:
