US Senator absurdly suspended from Twitter over a hunting photo [UPDATE: MUSK FIXES, EXPLAINS WHAT HAPPENED]

The US Senator from Montana was just suspended over a hunting photo he put on his profile.

Senator Steve Daines had posted the following photo on his Twitter profile pic, which he was told he had to remove in his suspension email.

An Axios reporter got the suspension email and it clearly says he has to delete his photo in order to restore access to his account:

 
His Twitter account now says it is suspended:

This should never happen in the era of Elon Musk owning Twitter.

It sounds to me like Musk still has some rouge employees that he needs to weed out because suspending anyone for this is absurd.

Hopefully Musk is working to reverse this immediately.

 
UPDATE: Daines’ account has been freed from Twitter jail. Elon musk responded to the ban by suggesting a rule they have against gruesome profile images was not clearly defined:
