The Antifa member who killed Aaron J. Danielson, a Trump supporter in Portland over the weekend, is being interviewed by Vice News. Michael Forest Reinoehl appeared to target Danielson based on videos we posted. But Reinoehl claims it was self-defense:
Danielson admits killing Danielson, but his defense is that Danielson is a racist who was about to kill his ‘friend of color’? C’mon. That matches none of the reporting on this.
Remember, this is what we heard before the shots:
Listen closely. This was the instant of the murder in Portland.
A: "Hey! Hey, we got one right here! We got a Trumper right here!"
B: "Right here?"

That doesn’t sound like self-defense at all. That sounds like he targeted and gunned down a Trump supporter in cold blood.
Now of course we can’t say exactly what happened from the video, but if Danielson was taking action at all it’s likely because they were already targeting him.
Aso, Reinoehl doesn’t exactly have the best track record:
The Antifa security guard allegedly being probed in the deadly shooting of a President Trump supporter in Portland was abusive to his mother and leeched off the family, the man’s sister said in an interview — adding that she has received death threats.
April Reinoehl, 36, who identified Michael Forest Reinoehl to police after the shooting, told the Daily Mail at her Oregon home that her brother had been estranged from the family for three years after verbally abusing their dementia-stricken mother, a retired teaching assistant.
Reinoehl was also arrested in July, but Portland authorities didn’t prosecute him:
On July 5, police arrested Reinoehl amid a violent riot in front of the federal courthouse. Authorities charged him with possessing a loaded gun in a public place, resisting arrest, and interfering with police. Although he was given a court date later that month, authorities dropped the charges on July 30. Court records do not explain why prosecutors decided to drop the charges. Reinoehl did not spend any time behind bars.
Reinoehl has publicly posted on his instagram that he is ready and willing to fight for this ‘revolution’:
“Every revolution needs people that are willing and ready to fight. There are many of us protesters that are just protesting without a clue of where that will lead. That’s just the beginning that’s where the fight starts. If that’s as far and you can take it thank you for your participation but please stand aside and support the ones that are willing to fight.”
According to the WSJ, he also wrote:
“I am 100% ANTIFA all the way! I am willing to fight for my brothers and sisters!” he wrote in a June 16 post. “We do not want violence but we will not run from it either! If the police continue to pick on and beat up innocent citizens that are peacefully voicing their objections, it must be met with equal force!”
So considering all of this, pardon me if I don’t just believe his convenient defense. Nope, I don’t believe it one bit.
