[VIDEO] Actor Rick Moranis from “Honey I Shrunk the Kids” SUCKER PUNCHED in NYC

67 year-old actor Rick Moranis was sucker punched yesterday in New York City, near Central Park on the Upper West Side. He was just randomly punched by a black man on the sidewalk and ended up having to go to the hospital:

Here’s more from CBS 2, including the surveillance video of the attack:

Police said it happened in broad daylight just before 7:30 a.m. on Central Park West near 70th Street.

Surveillance cameras captured the attack on the 67-year-old “Honey I Shrunk the Kids” and “Ghostbusters” actor.

Video shows the suspect walk up and punch Moranis in the head, knocking him to the ground.

Police said he went to the hospital with pain in his head, back and hip. He later walked to the precinct to report the crime.

Neighbors told CBS2’s Jenna DeAngelis he is a very nice guy, and they were shocked to hear about the unprovoked attack.

An absolutely heinous attack, especially on someone near 70 years old. I’ll never understand what goes through the minds of these thugs when they do crap like this. Is this guy a black supremacist who is taking his hatred out on random white people? Was it some gang initiation rite?

As of today the NYPD still hasn’t caught the thug who did this. The search is on, they say, and I hope they catch this perp and put him away for a long time.
