[VIDEO]- Biden gets DEFENSIVE when asked about Catholic Bishops demanding federal tax dollars NOT fund abortions

Joe Biden got really defensive yesterday when he was asked about Catholic Bishops demanding that federal tax dollars not fund abortions.

When asked about this, Biden exclaimed “no they are not all doing that.”

Maybe they aren’t all doing that, but I’m sure this demand by Bishop Michal Burbidge, chairman of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Pro-Life Committee, speaks for nearly all of them.

The U.S. bishops are urging Congress to permanently ban the use of taxpayer dollars for abortion through the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act.

Bishop Michael Burbidge of Arlington, Virgina, chairman of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Pro-Life Committee, issued a letter Friday to House and Senate leaders supporting the legislation to permanently ban taxpayer funding of abortion.

In his letter, Burbidge said that the “government should never fund the destruction of innocent preborn children” and that “congressional action is required.”

Here’s the video of Biden:

Imagine being so beholden to the cult of unborn baby murder that you justify your position by a very small handful of Catholic Bishops, if even that many. (I honestly don’t know of any Catholic Bishops who support abortion, as that position would be against Church teaching.)

But that’s exactly what Biden is doing. He even claims that the Pope isn’t demanding this either. Well that may be technically true in that Pope Francis isn’t part of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, however the Pope has been clear in his opposition to abortion, saying “Is it licit to throw away a life to resolve a problem? Is it licit to hire a hitman to resolve a problem?” Pope Francis has also said “Abortion is murder.”

Why would Pope Francis support federal funding of abortions if he believes abortion is murder?

Joe Biden’s position on abortion is squarely against the teachings of the Catholic Church, which is why all but eleven US Bishops wanted to bar him from Holy Communion. He can get defensive on this issue all he wants, but he will be held accountable for this one day. And on that day I wouldn’t want to be him.
