On a channel I’m sure most of you don’t watch, CNN’s Don Lemon went into a severe laughing fit a few nights ago for over a minute after Trump-hater Rick Wilson and Wajahat Ali smugly mocked Trump and his supporters:
The arrogance, the dismissiveness, the smug cackling, the accents.
If Donald Trump wins re-election this year, I’ll remember this brief CNN segment late one Saturday night in January as the perfect encapsulation for why it happened. pic.twitter.com/8kQ6zN9AZV

I get that they really hate Trump, but this is how they treat a sitting President of the United States and the people who voted for him? Seriously, the disdain at over half of America is dripping with contempt and arrogance.
The Daily Caller retweeted the video from Krakauer with the title “America, this is what CNN thinks of you…”, which has gotten over 4 million views on Twitter and even drew the ire of Ivanka Trump:
You consistently make fun of half the country and then complain that it is divided.
The arrogance, mocking accents and smug ridicule of this nation’s ‘Real Elites’ is disgusting. https://t.co/p3RQzymx4s

She’s not wrong. It doesn’t get much more divisive than mocking over half of the country as a bunch of dumb hicks just because they disagree. But hey, this is CNN.
Here’s a few more notable responses…
My God. They learned nothing from 2016 and its aftermath. Nothing from Brexit and its aftermath. https://t.co/fGwJPHgshT

Remember how the press flipped out when Trump said 'fake news is the enemy of the people'? https://t.co/fXk32Y9jqc

It’s hard to picture a better donation in kind to Trump than this segment. Trump got elected because a wide swath of the electorate felt that the media and GOP political professionals looked down on them and ignored them.
And here’s Rick Wilson and Co. saying “yep, we sure do.” https://t.co/1uA3T5WfZk

The people who found the U-crane joke high-larious are making fun of us. https://t.co/rW3CTcsLA2
